Punk rock band formed in Coimbra in 1987. The band became known for its irreverent, experimental and fun sound, mixing punk rock influences with Portuguese folk music. Their lyrics were full of humor, social criticism and references to Coimbra culture, such as the University and its traditions. Live, the band was "the fun gnawing of the imagination" and very performative, their shows would almost always finish with milk, eggs, ketchup, flour and cabbages being thrown around.
According to Chatgpt, the band never released two studio albums: "É mas foice" (1989) and "Mapa Cor de Rock" (1991), which featured renowned guest musicians.
Their CV includes 1st place at the II Mostra de Música Moderna de Coimbra (1989) and appearances at the famous Danceteria Broadway (Coimbra).
The band also took part in several compilations, such as "Insurrectos" (1990), "Rock Rendez Worten" (1990) and "Novo Rock Português" (1992). Some of their best-known songs are "Cu Nimbriga de Morcegos", "Galinheiro", "Coca-Cola Billy" and "Fado".
The band had a short but intense career, making a mark on the music scene in Coimbra and Portugal. The band broke up in 1992. However, they left a legacy of originality, creativity and irreverence, which is still remembered and admired today by their fans and the new generation of musicians from Coimbra.
