JOHNNY THROTTLE
Formed in London in 2007, Johnny Throttle is a punk rock ‘supergroup’ of sorts, with members from The Parkinsons, Lucy & the Rats and The Gaggers joining forces.
Their intention? To play real rock n’ roll the way it was always meant to be - snotty, moronic and straight to the point. They bang out a furious 20-minute set of short and catchy Modern Lovers meet Slaughter and The Dogs meet Electric Eels inspired mini-operas with the kind of incompetent teenage enthusiasm which only the borderline middle-aged can truly muster.
PRAÇA DA CANÇÃO
Praça da Canção is an emblematic and historic space in Coimbra, known for hosting cultural events and memorable moments. Located on the banks of the Mondego River, this park has a long tradition as a meeting point for students and artists, making it a special place to celebrate music and culture.
To get there, simply head to downtown, the city's historic center, and cross the river via the Santa Clara bridge.
CAMPING
There is no camping on the premises. However, we are able to offer a 15% direct discount on your stay at Coimbra Camping, for the entire duration of the event, upon presentation of the Luna Fest ticket. Enjoy the magic of the festival and relax in the tranquillity of Coimbra Camping!
